Configure layer type in vMAP Admin Center

What is the layer type used for in vMAP?
Layer type is the template of a layer, which defines the data fields of the points/lines/polygons on the layer. After the layer type is created, you can quickly create more layers with the same layer type for further operations, such as layers with same fields from imported dataset.
In order to display the spatial data with matched fields in vMAP Portal (front end), you need to configure the layer type before importing data into layers and creating mapviews.
How do I configure a layer type?
You can configure a layer type by following operations:
Create a new layer type
Click on the button towards the bottom of the Layer Type panel to open the New Layer Type window. Input a name for the Layer Type, click on the
button. It will be listed in the Layer Type panel to the left.
Edit a layer type
1. Edit the layer type name
Select a layer type from the list in the Layer Type panel to the left, its detailed information will then be displayed in the panel to the right. You can edit the layer type name, and click on the button to save the changes.

button to open the New Field window. Input a Field Name and select the GC Field and Geo Type, and click on the
