Copy a polygon on the mapview

To open the Copying polygons to another layer window, click the polygon toolbar icon and select copypolygon0306 item.

In the Copying polygons to another layer window, follow these steps:

Step 1. Select Target layer

Select a target layer, where the polygon will be copied to.

Step 2. Load a polygon

Load the polygon to the upper grid by clicking a polygon on the mapview and the image645 button.

Step 3. Save the copied polygon
To proceed to copy the selected polygon to the target layer, click the save button. Then the copied polygon can be viewed on the target layer.

Tips: The following instructions are optional operations for editing data fields in the Copying polygons to another layer window, which you can refer to when needed.

1. (Optional) Edit the polygon field values

To edit the field value of the copied polygon, click the image649 button to the right of the layer name in the Actions column.

To edit a Key value, input or change the value in the field. (See the Field assignment screenshot below)

(Optional) Set the polygon field values of the target layer

To match the copied polygon field with loaded polygon field, click and select from the drop-down list of Target layer field name

To set the new polygon field values in the Set a fixed value for this mapping window, click the editvalue button to the right of the Target layer field name column.

3. (Optional) Add new field for the polygon

To add a new field for the polygons of both original and copied one, click the plus button on the Copying polygons to another layer window.
