Display data with different maps

In vMAP, users can display their data with different types of map. There are three different map types supported:

1. Heat map

Heat maps are used to visualise areas that have different densities of spatial entities on the map. The vMAP Heat map can be used to visualise geographic data which is generated with different colors to show where higher density areas occurs.

For the detailed operations of creating heat map, please refer to Create a heat map.

2. Spider diagram map

Spider diagrams are a type of visualization where a series of lines branch out from a single origin point to several destination points. It is widely used to analyse the affected range from a point to various points around it. vMAP can be used to generate spider diagrams with unlimited number of links originating from a single origin point. The color, border thickness, and opacity of the lines can be customised in the layer settings.

For the detailed operations of creating spider diagram map, please refer to Create a spider diagram map.

3. Cluster diagram map

Cluster diagrams are used to represent groups of objects collectively as clusters. vMAP cluster maps can help visualise spatial data by generating multiple clusters of different colors, for example it can be used to visualize density of objects on the mapview.

For the detailed operations of creating cluster map, please refer to Create a cluster diagram map.
