Display locations (points) on maps

2 min Medium

In vMAP, a point represents a location with an address on the map. For example, a point can be a house, a store, or a bank. You can import address data into vMAP, which has a functionality to geocode addresses into geographic coordinates on the map, or you can directly draw points on the map. Instead of going over addresses that are stored as text in files, visualising them as points on the map allows for easier visualisation.

How can I display a location (point) on the map?

To display all points on all layers, click on the image958 icon from the Layer Manager panel to the right to change it to the image960 icon.

To display all points on a specific layer, click on the image946 icon in front of an individual layer from the Layer Manager panel to change it to the image948 icon.
